„Wunderbare Woche in Brügge
Wir waren begeistert: Ein kleines Hotel mitten in der Altstadt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und angenehm ruhig. Unsere Junior Suite im zweiten Stock hatte sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Wir hatten eine eigene Garage nur wenige Meter entfernt und konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal war - bis auf eine Ausnahme (siehe unten) - ausgesprochen freundlich und immer bemüht, alle Wünsche gleich zu erfüllen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich hier Ignace, der uns das ohnehin hervorragende Frühstück jeden Morgen zum Vergnügen machte! Auch mit dem Gepäck (Wir hatten viel!) wurde uns selbstverständlich geholfen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Brügge genossen und würden gerne wieder im "The Pand" übernachten!
Zwei Punkte fallen mir hier ein: 1. Es wurde vielleicht nicht jeden Tag überall gesaugt, das merkte man an den Wollmäusen unter dem Nachttisch. Nach einem Hinweis an der Rezeption wurde dies jedoch umgehend erledigt und fortan gab es keinerlei Beanstandungen mehr. 2. Was uns weit mehr gestört hat, war eine Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, die eventuell nicht bedacht hat, dass die Gäste vielleicht die Landessprache nicht sprechen, aber durchaus verstehen können. Wenn man dann hinter seinem Rücken als "Moffen" bezeichnet wird, trifft einen das doch. Wenn man mit Gästen aus anderen Ländern nicht zurecht kommt, darf man wahrscheinlich nicht im Hotelgewerbe arbeiten.
